Working on a new book on hydration and water my head is full of exciting new information about water, energy and health.

Water is not the simple solvent we use to clean pour dishes and flush our toilets.  It truly is amazing in the depth and breath of the benefits it brings to humanity and the workings of the planet.

Teaching an MK course the other day i volunteered to be tested for Dehydration. I was surprised at how many systems in my body were dehydrated. We continued with the process and the  correction. That evening i called to check in on a friend’s cats as they were away. The cats were far more friendly.

A day or so later i noticed my skin was looking better.

I think i might have even been looking younger, that may have been wishful thinking.

I also felt more relaxed and able to concentrate more on the study i am undertaking.

Finally i sat back and reviewed the last few months, i am a good water drinker usually and could not fathom why my body had been so dehydrated. As i reviewed the preceding weeks i realised how i had allowed myself to become overly stressed physically and emotionally. It was simple enough, high stress, two hours sleep in 48 hours and on a constant emergency footing. I had stepped in to support a dying friend and had focussed so much on their needs i had neglected my own.

A valuable lesson learned, i need to make sure i stay hydrated and look out for my own health as much as i was doing for my friend.

Stress takes a heavy toll on the body and staying hydrated is important.

If you have not already done so, purchase a copy of Kissing the Black Dog and learn the importance of water, pH and oxygen for maintaining your health.  It can  make a real difference.
