Sitting having breakfast at Esk this morning i was reviewing some of things i have been learning about water as i am researching for my next book. Thought i would share a few.

Water is the base of nearly, if not all functions within our body       Water has a structure which can neutralise toxins
Water creates electricity in the body
Water lubricates our joints
Water improves skin tone
Water helps to break down food
Water keeps the brain functioning
Water improves your mood
Water acts like a battery
Water in nature flows in a vortex formation and generates usable energy
Water which travels more than 100m (300ft) loses it’s electrical charge and becomes dead water
Water reduces the chance of heart attacks
Water can assist with ADD and ADHD
Water or the lack of it can create changes in the genes
Water is a liquid crystal
Water improves memory
Water improves athletic performance
Water cures stomach ulcers
Water can alkalise the body
Water keeps our cells from prematurely dying
Water is important for eyesight
Water transports the chemicals of the body
Water improves the structure and function of enzymes
Water helps your bowels work
Water transports oxygen to the cells

Water is a truly amazing substance, it gives and takes life. It creates and when denatured, destroys anything in it’s path. We can not live without it, yet we have not really begun to understand it.

Dehydration underlies most of our health conditions, we would rather label them with different descriptions, treat the symptoms with chemicals that further dehydrate than admit we need water. Not sure i understand the logic!

Depression and anxiety and a series of other brain health issues are directly linked with a lack of water and an increase in inflammation (A direct result of lack of free water).

So many people i read about are still fighting depression with an arsenal of drugs, making the problem worse by numbing the pain. Talking therapies and drugs will not hydrate your brain. Do not take my word on this do the research, it is out there in plain view.

The link between our health and dehydration is well researched. In Kissing the Black Dog i talk about the water-pH-oxygen axis and it’s importance to the real underlying issue of health. This threesome is inseparable when it comes to maintaining health. Water with the correct pH to alkalise our system, enriched with oxygen create the environment to health to prosper.

It is not rocket science, it is a matter of recognising what we have been lead to believe were half truths. The answer is simpler, harder to profit from and within your grasp.
