Stress is primarily caused by emotional/ mental tension. The jobs we do on ourselves deserves an oscar nomination. When we can step back and honestly look our our lives we can see a comedy of errors and less than bright discussions and actions we have taken.

Our machinations are extraordinary in there breadth and scope. The real drama is caused by our inability to recognise we are doing it to ourselves. The ultimate trickster, is ourselves, we each carry Coyote energy and tie ourselves in knots that bewilder the greatest minds.

When we can Simply Love our own playful insanity we can move forward in our lives with a constant smile on our face.

Getting to this point for some is a bridge to far, to come to the cliff and step off is not within the reality of some.

Over 25 years i have seen many people, recoil in horror at the concept that they may actually be responsible for their own reality. Blaming others is just too easy. Manifesting a victim consciousness is just so safe. Accepting that their thoughts and emotions effect their bodies is unimaginable.

It has been my experience that the most sceptical end up being the most ardent students of their own self growth, once the doors have been opened.

So how do be take a non believer to the space of a true believer?

Below i will highlight some of the Motivational Kinesiology techniques i have found useful. Watching other practitioners over the years i have seen a commonality in way they open people’s hearts. For that is what we are really doing, reconnecting people with their own hearts.

One of the most useful skills i find is the Integrated movement exercise from MK1. Reconnecting both sides of the brain and releasing stored muscle tension from the body opens the pathways between the brain and it’s Master, the heart. When the brain and the body are realigned, the static that is overriding the bodies communication system is reduced and that quiet inner voice can be again heard over the background noise and confusion that predominates our lives.

Hydration is also very important is keeping the system running and lowering the effects of physical stress. A lack of water in the body can be devastating, even a small reduction in hydration can effect our brains ability to operate effectively. Depression and anxiety are key symptoms of dehydration. Most physical symptoms respond well to rehydration of the body. I must make it perfectly clear at this point that water is the number one, most beneficial way to rehydrate the body. Few people actually drink and assimilate enough water. Two litres per day, drunk slowly seems to be the best way to rehydrate.

Ionisation. Our bodies are positively charged and we need the intake of negative ions to balance our electromagnetic systems and correct the pH levels to a more alkaline environment. An excess of positive ions lead to illness and contribute to depression and anxiety.

Oxygenation and Breathing. So many people have problems breathing correctly and absorbing enough oxygen. The nervous system needs oxygen to function. See more here.

With each of these MK corrections the concept of underlying emotional/mental stress is introduced. As the client begins to feel better it is usually possible to explore the power of our emotions and thoughts at a deeper level. At times it is possible to move beyond the physical and work directly with the real issues, the emotional/mental garbage bin of unprocessed negativity we are carrying.

The stress correction is a gentle way to introduces the power of our negative programming to those who are still feeling their way. Identifying and correcting a emotion or belief system relating to a stress usually opens the door to deeper exploration of our hidden agendas. See more on the stress here.

Clearing these key areas reduces the stress load and opens most people to the concept that they do have an effect on their own and others lives.

It is a treasure to watch the transition that many undertake when the doors of possibility are unlocked.
