For over a year I have contemplated eating a more healthy diet. Each time I do I seem to double my chocolate or processed food intake. It was like I was rebelling, but against what? Recently I made the earth shattering realisation that I was in fact, Unwilling to change and eat healthy.
Using one of the techniques from Motivational Kinesiology I started digging. First I had to admit I WAS UNWILLING. Then out of the dim dark past pops a memory. When was 4 or 5 my father held me on the ground and tried to make me eat an egg. That was the way parenting was done in the Good Old Days.
That realisation was like a liberation, finally I joined the dots as to why I can be so rebellious, even to my own disadvantage. Decades later that little boy was still struggling against being forced to do something against his will.
That afternoon I visited my favourite Homeopath to put this issue to bed. Some would wonder why a homeopath and not a Kinesiologist. That answer is simple, the rebellious little kid within can outsmart most kinesiologists, which works to my disadvantage.
I am happy to report I have not purchased chocolate or junky sugary stuff since the aha moment. Sometimes that little voice pops up suggesting I do, I simply smile and ignore it.
The other night I was invited to a birthday party of a friend. During the evening I noticed my behaviour towards other people was different. Wondering how it is related, but happy for the change?
Using techniques like Motivational Kinesiology and Homeopathy are a great for unlocking our hidden blocks and freeing us to be more of who and what we are.
We all have stuff, the trick is recognising where we are unwilling to learn/change and address the issue.
