When we apply the Law of Opposites to human behaviour would the situation look different, a predator needs prey, and in nature the prey needs a predator to balance the numbers. Prey tend to produce more offspring (in the animal world) and predators help to keep the balance. A bully can only exist where they have a victim or prey. If a person has poor self esteem, low personal value a bully will try and empower themselves at the cost of someone less able to defend themselves. This happens in the home, at school, in the workplace, right up to the planets and the universe. Weather is an example of energy and power being brought back to balance.

If a bully has no prey, each person has learned to be empowered and not give in or give away their power and authority would bullying stop? Potentially.

Go to a supermarket and watch stressed parents bully their children with threats of violence or threats of subtle abuse and manipulation. From early on a child is educated and trained to stand and fight or run away, give in. This is the standard stress response. Those that stand and fight are prone to becoming bullies, those that give in are prone to becoming victims. Watch the interaction from the dualistic view and it becomes more obvious. It is simply the way of the world, the dance of energies.

Whilst bullies need to learn to act more appropriately so do victims. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is have someone give up their victim consciousness because it is like they are actually being run by an inner bully. This becomes obvious when victim has a chance the even the core. Some of the most vicious people are victims out for revenge. It is hidden and disguised as justice.

Our whole society is geared to the predator/prey scenario, the balance between the haves and the have nots, those in power wielding control over those without power.

The issue is about the way we operate as humans , as a society and our willingness to change and become co-operative and let go of competition. One builds society, one leads eventually to it’s demise.

To stop bullying we need to change the game and empower both players. Life is no a one man show.

Motivational Kinesiology is one tool to find, identify and release the patterns that formulate which side of the equation we are on. Victim or bully, they both loose.
