Depression like so many labelled conditions is a multi complex subject. Some symptoms that present as depression may have other causes that go untreated.

Here is 12 ways to begin to feel better

  1. Go for a walk for an hour if possible. Get out in the fresh air and sunlight. Always look into the distance when walking
  2. Drink alkalising water 2 litres is basic survival level. A pinch of salt can help the body hydrate
  3. Breathe, take time to take deep relaxed breaths at a rate of anywhere between 6 and 12 breaths per minute.
  4. Practice an attitude of gratitude. Be grateful for whatever you can think of even the painful stuff
  5. Balance your pH, an acidic body creates an acidic brain.
  6. Listen to inspiring speakers or music.
  7. Work on turning the I can’t into I can.
  8. Get some sun, obviously at a safe time of day.  The body needs sunshine
  9. Swap  processed sugar for natural sugars like fruit and veggies
  10. Set realistic goals. If this is a struggle start by choosing to feel a little better than you already do
  11.  Realise your negativity is a choice, ambient a difficult one to recognise when stuck in the blues.

Are you really clinical depressed or have you not taken the time to look after your body?  There are people who are clinically depressed and need help. You probably are not one of those and above tips may be all you need.
