Ever noticed how one emotion can lead to a cascade of similar and stronger emotions?
One negative thought can fire off an avalanche of related feelings of negativity.
One feeling of love inspires more constructive and life enhancing emotions.
I have noticed this when using Motivational Kinesiology or Simply Love It techniques. it is most obvious when accessing negative, painful emotions. When we start to explore deep hidden painful emotions, many associated emotions surface, blocking our abilities to live a loving life begin to surface. Each working it’s magic to limit our ability to live a loving life.
Relationships are slowly or sometimes quickly destroyed by the insidious force of negative thoughts and feelings. Once we begin to focus on something we do not like in our partner, the seeds of toxic thinking are sown. One by one the things we do not like become more and more into focus. Soon the list expands and it becomes easier to look for what we do not like than focus on what we love in the other person. It takes little time for the avalanche of points to focus on became laser sharp and overwhelm any good the person may being doing in our eyes.
Our eyes and ears and poisoned by our inability to control our thoughts and feelings, fear now rules the roost.
The poison flows freely in our veins, not only creating toxic relationships, we are actually polluting our own body with our negative goal setting actions. Negative thoughts and emotions create acidic chemicals which are highly additive. Once hooked it can be difficult if we are still focused in our slave realm of fear. Breaking the habit is something we do not consider until the weight of our self induced pain becomes overwhelming.
Not understanding that we are addicted to our thoughts and the chemical reactions makes it difficult to change. We do not know what we do not know. MK and SLI, are wonderful gentle tools to bring to our awareness what we are doing to ourselves and help unlock the best way to move forward.
Giving up the acidic toxic patterns can be a lot easier than most may believe. Many people suffer in silence due to the stigma in society around mental health. We in the west have a lopsided view of what is considered to a healthy natural life and the beneficial aspects of expressing the full range of human emotions. Normal behaviours are constantly coming under threat from a medical system driven to find more diseases.
Practitioners working in the area of real health constantly find healthy options for turning the negative into the constructive.
One exercise is to take control of our thoughts and start to go to that place where we can feel good now. Choosing how we want to be in each moment we begin to feel the way we would love to be. Focusing on what we can be, do and have we can rapidly turn around our thoughts.
Our heart rules our head, we seem to have missed this message.
The negativity we have created to this point in our lives is generating an abundant profit each day for us. Changing gears takes effort, is it time to move out of low range low gear, to high range, top gear and make our lives sing.
Taking time regularly to;
Stop – deep breath and relax
Think – go to the feeling place of how you wish to be and dream, visualise, get into the feeling of having it now.
Act – Then follow through as if you already have what you desire.
At first it takes effort, so did our negative programming when we first created and practiced it.
Practice, practice, practice, it may take up to six weeks of constant practice until the pattern locks in. Years ago i was working with a new programme, the statement was I honour the light and life within. Six weeks later after endless repetition i was standing in a shop where the woman was consistently rude to everyone. I was saying the statement to myself as i placed my order. When she returned i put my hand to pay, she took my hand, placed the change in my palm, closed my hand and smiled. If she had not been holding my hand i think i might have fallen over.
Our thoughts when coupled with our emotions creates incoherence or coherence which can change our lives. Focussing on what we want or what we do not want is our choose, either way we will get what we want.
