Integrated Movement as used in Motivational Kinesiology, is a wonderful way to reduce stress, improve wellness and reconnect the left and right brain hemispheres.
Basically the right brain controls what occurs on the left side of the body and the left brain, the right side of the body.

Many behavioural problems occur in children and adults when, potentially due to stressful situations something disturbs the natural balance and we become dominate in one side of the brain. People who have experienced intense emotional trauma sometimes tend to become over logical and critical. I have seen clients who have been deeply scarred by a broken relationship they have locked the the ability to function from the right brain creative centres.
With the over focus on left brain thinking and an education system created to maximise “logic” over intuition a large section on the western world have been forced into left brain dominance.
Children who do not fit this system become ostracised and may think that are dumb, stupid, not good enough and may become over emotional (right brain dominant) to compensate.
Kathy Johnson from Pyramid of Potential has an interesting video on the Moro Reflexes that may also play a part. Click Here
Many adults are unable to integrate and this causes problems with creating solutions and may be passed onto their children.
Integrated Movement can assist to reorganise the brain, reduce stress, improve wellness, unlock unwillingness issues. improve learning.
Our brain works more effectively when both hemispheres work together
