There are thousands of books, courses or training focussed on goal setting and achieving our dreams. Most are focussed on our thinking and are usually geared towards material things.
Working with clients on their goals it is amazing how often what people think they want it not really going to make them feel good or happy for long. Many times their perceived goals actually belong to someone else. Maybe we are trying to live dad or mom’s or someone else’s dreams and lives. Possibly we are trying with fit within the social norms.
A simple question , repeatedly asked, brings up surprises for most people. When it is broken down, our real goal is really to feel good NOW! What we really want is a feeling, a heart based experience. It has nothing to do with material stuff or what we think.
Those who are emotionally scarred have a lot of trouble getting into expressing their real goal of feeling good because they have become barricaded inside their heads, where their ego can nurture their pain.
Feeling good now, and getting better is really what we desire, the material stuff will assist us to experience our feelings. When we can identify and accept what our optimum goal is more about how we feel than what we think we want.experience the feeling anytime we choose, being in the feeling place we attract and manifest much faster.
Our brains are powerful and we create experiences with our thoughts. Our heart is even more powerful, it directs our brain and this is why when we connect to the feelings of what we wish to experience we are generating a much higher level of intensity.
When we decide to reset our goals, take time to tune in to how the subject of your desire will make you feel. Once identified focus on feeling that emotion now, go to the feeling place of what you want.
Working out how we can get what we desire is not as important and the why. Staying focussed on the feeling, as we do we are transmitting a signal that will attract to us the events, people and circumstances. to bring about our desires. Most of us are so busy watching our gps, working out how we will get there.. There are so many variables it is impossible to see how it can be attracted. Relax, focus on the feeling with intensity and imagine you already have it. Live as if you already have it believe it is coming to you.
Take the time now to right down some goals or cherished desires, imagine money is not an issue. Give yourself 10 minutes and create your dream list.
Now number the list from 1 -10 your ability to have it very soon.
Be honest.
1 is possible 10 will take time.
Once completed stop focussing on the 10s. Put your attention on what is achievable. Once that is achieved, the bigger goals will become easier as you build your level of belief in the process.
Be aware of how you feel about each goal, this gives you an insight into how much resistance you may have on that issue.
Connecting with our true hearts desire we sometimes need from someone else. Helping people journey back into heart space is the most rewarding part of working with people. Lives change when we reconnect with our power source, our heart space. Depression and anxiety may be symptoms of having no dreams and being battered by the winds of life. With our goals and dreams we are rudderless.
