I thought i was over it! I hear this so often, people thinking they have dealt with an issue, yet it comes back to haunt them. Sometimes it is possible to release an old negative programme or habit with enough work and awareness.

Events, situations and habits come with a multitude of hooks and triggers which are usually unconscious and we do not know that we do not know they exist until it is to late.

When we think we clear something we tend to stitch off , turn off the radar believing the threat has passed. This is so far from the truth. One tiny little event, an action, colour, smell, sound, belief, the list is endless of triggers that will resurface the old issue.

We never get over stuff, there is always a chance it will resurface and it is important to know and act on this. Once the old programming is identified it is usually easy to unlock ourselves from it. We never get over stuff, we learn to manage it better.

Using the Simply Love It technique is a good way to free ourselves from the old patterns by simply loving the issue. John (not his real name) had an issue with believing he was a idiot. He used Simply Love It and cleared a lot of old stuff. He  was happy and went about his life recognising areas of intelligence he did actually have. Months later the phone call came, things were not working for him. It soon became apparent that his old friend idiot was back on the scene. He used the process and could laugh at how subtle the old programme was. Once he loved it he was back on track, this time however, much more vigilant of the persistence of this old friend.

It may not be possible to totally remove old programmes, if we stay aware that it may come back we are in a better place to stop it affecting our lives. Recognising them , owning them and loving them heals the issue and allows us to live a fuller life.
