We live in a world where more and more knowledge about the universe is arising everyday. It could simply overwhelm us with a flood of knowledge, that in reality makes little difference in our lives at this time. The scientific breakthroughs are changing our world, the insights into human nature and our place in the universe is breathtaking in it’s width and breath.

With all this amazing research happening it is interesting how we deluge ourselves with information that clogs our creative genius. Some focus on stuff that is of absolutely no importance, we gossip and belittle others and at the end of the day wonder why we have no time. We sit memorised in front of the idiot box or surf the net, looking for trash about movie stars, what our friends are eating, who is sleeping with whom, or rehashing of our own fears and limitation in discussion groups.

In a world full of enlightenment and enchantment, where great minds are stretching the fabric of our awareness, why do we limit ourselves with trivia that wastes our creative genius? We complicate our lives and waste so much time on things that need no energy and really have no reason to exist. What so and so wears or eats makes no difference in the great cosmic mystery that is unfolding before our eyes.

How much of our time is wasted on inessentials, mind numbing, creative energy vampires sucking our genius and relegating to the ranks of the just warm zombies, taking up space.

The human mind is a magnificent thing, capable to taking humanity to heights unimagined, with the power and creative talent to take us deep into space and return our earth to a state of paradise. This gift, lies unwrapped, rotting in the gutter, unopened and cast aside in the pursuit of trinkets and novelties of mediocrity.

We are capable of so much when we simplify our lives, carefully choose to feel good and reduce our stress levels. Life really is magnificent, a blessing to be enjoyed each and everyday for it’s positive and negative experiences. Making the chose to be in control an remove or unnecessary dross we clear our mind, allow the brain to think creative thoughts that enrich our lives.

Complicating our lives can be an avoidance strategy we use to live down to our internalised beliefs about ourselves. Taking the time to prioritise and manage what we think, feel and action frees us to begin to create the life we choose, instead of the one inflicted on us by choosing other people’s guidelines.

When we take the time to focus on our goals and dreams we have the ability to set in motion an action plan that to create amazing change in our own lives.Being obsessive and having a one tracked mind on creating the life we choose to live comes down to doing the simple things, in sequence one step after the other.
